After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.
For a minimum of $30, the comprehensive package contains these components:
Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
